Mosaic XII : A Group Exhibition

For the first time ever, KL Lifestyle Art Space will be showcasing the works of many different artists with diverse styles all under one roof, entitled Mosaic XII to celebrate it’s 1st Anniversary. Ever since KL Lifestyle Art Space opened its doors to both art galleries in Bangsar and Tropicana City Mall, the main purpose has been to offer an avenue for Malaysian artists to showcase their masterpieces to the general public, to bridge a gap between them. For this occasion, KL Lifestyle Art Space has brought together a group of works by Malaysian as well as Indonesian artists for a group exhibition, hosted at KL Lifestyle Art Space’s gallery at Jalan Maarof in Bangsar.

A number of renowned Malaysian artists will be showcasing their paintings for Mosaic XII, including the likes of Khalil Ibrahim, Syed Thajudeen, Lim Ka Seng, Maamor Jantan, Mokhtar Ishak, Awang Damit, Ismail Latiff, Raphael Scott Ah Beng, Ahmad Shukri, Brigitte  & Azudin Shahadudin as well as a handful of other artists. This exhibition will provide these artists a fantastic platform for them to connect their body of work with art buyers, art aficionados, and the general public.

Another milestone for KL Lifestyle Art Space is the introduction of more Indonesian artists into the fold, after the success of Jeihan Sukmantoro’s solo exhibition in November. For Mosaic XII, Indonesian painters whose paintings will be shown at the exhibition are Erica Wahyuni, Putu Sutawijaya, Srihadi Soedarsono, Jeihan Sukmanyoro and the late Haji Widayat, will also still be available for public viewing during Mosaic XII.

KL Lifestyle Art Space will be holding “Mosaic" annually, which is good news for everyone who’s involved with not just the local arts scene, but also for the region in general. Artists and art lovers, you have just found your utopia and it is just a stone’s throw away in Bangsar.
